Dr. Youfa Wang (Chair)
Dr. Wang is the Endowed Chair of Wellness of John and Janice Fisher, Associate Director of the Fisher Institute of Health and Well-being, and Professor of Nutrition and Health Science in the College of Health, Ball State University. He is also the founding dean of the Xi’an Jiaotong University Global Health Institute and an Adjunct Professor in Johns Hopkins University, Fudan University, and Tianjin Medical University. His key research interests include epidemiology, nutrition, childhood obesity, chronic diseases, global health, nutrition database, systems models, and mHealth.
Dr. Duo Li (Co-Chair)
Dr. Li is an Endowed Professor and Associate Dean of Nutrition and Health Research Institute, Qingdao University, China. Before joining Qingdao University, he was a Professor of Nutrition in the Department of Food Science & Nutrition, Zhejiang University. Dr. Li’s research focuses on five nutrition-related fields: chronic diseases, nutrigenomics, nutrients bioactivity, food safety, and functional food development.
Dr. Frank Hu
Dr. Hu is the Chair and Professor of Nutrition and Epidemiology at the T.H. Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University. He is also a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Channing Division of Network Medicine. His research has focused on diet/lifestyle, metabolic, and genetic determinants of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular disease (CVD).
Dr. Wen-Harn Pan
Dr. Wen-Harn Pan is a Professor in the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, Academia Sinica, Taiwan. She is also the director for Division of Preventive Medicine and Health Services Research in National Health Research Institutes, Taiwan. She has been the leader of the National Nutrition and Health Survey in Taiwan (NNHST) since 1992.
Dr. Bing Wang
Dr. Wang received her Medical degree from Tianjin Medical University, China and her Ph.D. in Nutrition Science from the University of Sydney, Australia. Her research interests focused on elucidating the molecular basis of how nutrient components alter metabolic responses in neurodevelopment and cognitive function from fetus to late life.
Dr. Simin Liu
Dr. Liu is a Professor of Epidemiology at Brown University School of Public Health and Professor of Medicine (Endcrinology) at the Brown University Alpert Medical School. He is also the Director of Center for Global Cardiometabolic Health (CGCH). His research focused on the etiology of cardio-metabolic diseases with emphasis on identifying nutritional strategies that can predict and prevent these disease phenotypes in human population.
Dr. Zhaoping Li
Dr. Li is a Professor of Medicine, and Chief of Clinical Nutrition Division at UCLA School of Medicine, Ronald Regan Medical Center. She also directs the UCLA Center for Human Nutrition, overseeing the research coordinator, clinical dietitians, and clinical fellows.
